Bicol, Bohol, Boracay and Back in the Netherlands

Hello everyone,

I am back in the Netherlands!! I returned last Friday after a fast and comfortable trip. It is nice to be back, to see all my family and friends, to eat to food and to find out I have so many things . The not so good things is that it is extremely cold (for me), so I need to adjust to that. Also I do miss the Philippines and the people and friends there, but for now Im probably gonna stay here for a while. In June I ll be moving to Amsterdam and Im looking hard to find a nice job.

The last month in the Philippines was great! I did quite some traveling. I went to Bicol to swim with whale sharks (they are huge and amazing!!!) I visited the island Bohol with its interesting shaped chocolate hills and the cute primate animal tarsier, and I went to the beautiful but crowded island of Boracay to relax on the beach during the day and to enjoy cocktails at night. I had a great time to relax, to see beautiful things and to meet a lot of nice people. I also spent some time in Manila to do some more shopping and to do a lot of fun things with friends.

Overall I can say that a year in the Philippines was a great experience. I saw and learned a lot, experienced things I could never imagine and met some great people. Definitely a place to go back to some time!!
